Starting today, September 22nd, everything from ghee, cheese, cars, and even ACs has become cheaper. The government announced a GST reduction on September 3rd, which came into effect today. Now, GST will be levied in only two slabs: 5% and 18%. The government has done this to simplify the tax system.
