The hotel industry has suffered a loss of 25 billion Nepalese rupees (16 billion Indian rupees) so far in the 6 days of violence in Nepal. The protesters have set fire to many hotels including Kathmandu’s famous Hilton Hotel. The death toll in the violence has so far reached 51, while more than 1500 people are injured.
