The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has extended the contract of Chief Selector Ajit Agarkar. According to the report, he will remain in this position till June 2026. However, no statement has come from BCCI on this matter so far. Former fast bowler Agarkar was made the chairman of Team India’s selection committee in July 2023.
