The Amarnath Yatra has been stopped. The Yatra was to continue till 9th August, but it was stopped on 3rd August due to bad roads caused by heavy rains. Kashmir Divisional Commissioner Vijay Kumar Bidhuri said that the Yatra routes have been damaged a lot due to rain. Repair work will be done on both Baltal and Pahalgam routes, so the Yatra has had to be stopped.
