19-year-old Divya Deshmukh has won the FIDE Women’s World Cup of Chess. She won the title by defeating India’s Koneru Humpy in the tie-break round in the final. Along with becoming the world champion, she also became India’s 88th Grandmaster. In the tournament, Divya defeated many top ranked players and made it to the finals.
