Against England on the fourth day of the third Test, India’s batsmen of the match were Sarfaraz Khan and Yashasvi Jaiswal. As Jaiswal celebrated his second century in Test cricket, Sarfaraz made a strong argument for a longer stint with the Indian team with back-to-back fifty-fives. While both players were playing beautifully and playing with the England bowlers, there was a middle-of-the-trial argument between Sarfaraz and Jaiswal about running a double that even shocked captain Rohit Sharma.

At the middle of the pitch, Jaiswal sent Sarfaraz back, seemingly giving him a real chance to take a double. With Jaiswal having already run him out in the opening over of that Test match, the debutant was not impressed with his performance.

Jaiswal was told about Sarfaraz’s displeasure, and it appeared as though Sarfaraz chastised him for not running for the second.

Sarfaraz and Jaiswal didn’t agree on everything during that incident, but they played well together in Rajkot. Even before Jaiswal finished his run to reach the milestone, Sarfaraz celebrated his double hundred.

Sarfaraz asked Jaiswal to lead the walk-off as India declared the innings, ensuring the southpaw receives the credit he deserves for smashing records with his outstanding double ton.
