26 people were arrested from 7 states for making controversial comments on social media regarding the Pahalgam terror attack. All these arrests include an MLA from Assam’s opposition party AIUDF, a journalist, a student and a lawyer. Arrests were made in many states across the country for posting controversial posts on social media. These include Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Assam, Meghalaya and Tripura.
