Facts are sometimes stranger than fiction. On Thursday morning, students at a school in Uttar Pradesh were denied an academic lesson because their principal was getting a facial. However, it’s possible that they learned an important life lesson in the process.
Sangeeta Singh, the headmistress of a primary school in the Unnao district, was allegedly getting a facial when she should have been instructing children, according to police officials. Anam Khan, an assistant teacher, discovered the beauty procedure being performed in the area where food is prepared for students of the primary school in Dandamau village of Bighapur block.

Ms Khan recorded a video of herself entering the kitchen and encountering Ms Singh, who appeared to be nearing the end of her beauty routine, with the intention of catching the headmistress in the act. The video shows Ms Khan saying “very good” and shows a startled Ms Singh quickly rising from the chair.
The assistant teacher and police officers said that after that, Ms. Singh became enraged and began chasing Ms. Khan. She even thrashed her and bit her hand, causing it to bleed. A video of the bite marks was also posted by the assistant teacher.
Following Ms. Khan’s medical examination, the Bighapur police filed a case and the block education officer ordered an investigation against Ms. Singh.
“We received a complaint from the assistant teacher of the school in Dandamau village that the headmistress was getting a facial on the premises and beat her up when caught,” Bighapur Circle Officer Maya Rai stated. We’ll take the appropriate measures.”
