In a surprising revelation, social media personality Orhan Awatramani, popularly known as Orry, has claimed that actress Ananya Panday was unhappy about his cameo in the upcoming show Call Me Bae. Orry made this statement during a recent appearance on the Aleena Dissects podcast, where he shared details about a fallout between him and Ananya during the show’s production.
“We had a very big fallout when we were shooting for Call Me Bae… Then we patched up. She was jealous and insecure that I was going to be on Call Me Bae. She made some very mean comments at me,” Orry stated. He further remarked, “If Ananya Panday is threatened by my presence on set, then surely I am on the right track.”
Orry also acknowledged Ananya’s position as the lead actor in the project, adding, “She’s a senior actor to me. She could have had me removed from the show. If she was threatened by my presence, then surely I am doing something right. She was not happy with me on set, no.”
Ananya Panday has yet to respond to Orry’s claims. However, despite their on-set differences, the two were recently seen posing together at a high-profile wedding. Ananya stunned in an ivory lehenga with emerald jewelry, while Orry sported a stylish black kurta with silver embellishments and a matching traditional jacket.
On the professional front, Ananya Panday, who made her Bollywood debut with Student of the Year 2 in 2019, was last seen in Vikramaditya Motwane’s CTRL. The screenlife thriller, co-starring Vihaan Samat, delves into the issues of technological advancements and the potential threats posed by artificial intelligence. The 26-year-old actress is now gearing up for her upcoming projects, including Chand Mera Dil alongside Lakshya, Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri opposite Kartik Aaryan, and the much-anticipated second season of Call Me Bae.
