‘Anyone Could Beat Kamala’: Trump Shares Parody Video of Conversation with Obama | WATCH

US President-elect Donald Trump stirred fresh controversy after sharing a parody video of his widely-discussed interaction with former President Barack Obama during the state funeral of former US President Jimmy Carter. The video, shared on Trump’s official X account on Tuesday, featured AI-generated dialogue mimicking the voices of both leaders, further fueling public curiosity about what the two rival leaders actually discussed.

The spoof video, which quickly went viral, showcases a fictional conversation between Trump and Obama that touches on Trump’s recent electoral victory, Vice President Kamala Harris’s defeat, and takes jabs at current President Joe Biden and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

In the AI-generated video, Trump is seen greeting Obama with the words, “For a second time. Barack, very nice to see you.” Obama responds with “Congratulations. How you doing?” to which Trump replies, “A lot better now.”

The dialogue continues with Obama acknowledging Trump’s November 5 election win against Democratic candidate Kamala Harris, saying, “Yeah. I bet. I knew you’d win.” Trump’s character, in turn, takes a swipe at Harris, stating, “Oh would I? Oh well, come on, anyone could beat her.”

The video then shifts its focus to outgoing President Joe Biden. The AI-generated Obama quips about Biden’s decision to run for a second term, saying, “He just didn’t want to leave. I did what I could to help [Kamala], she was horrendous.”

Trump’s character also takes a dig at Hillary Clinton, his opponent in the 2016 presidential elections. In the spoof, he remarks, “You know what I realised? Hillary still hates me so much. She’ll never forgive me.”

The video concludes with another mock exchange about Kamala Harris, as she is shown entering the church with her husband, Doug Emhoff. “She won’t even look at me,” the fake Obama says. Trump’s character responds, suggesting Harris may have “fallen off the wagon,” with Obama adding, “She’s not really built for this amount of pressure.”

Earlier, reacting to the viral moment from the funeral, Trump commented, “I said, ‘Boy, they look like two people that like each other.’ And we probably do.”

Trump’s parody video sparked mixed reactions online, with some users criticizing it as inappropriate given the solemn occasion, while others praised its humor and creativity.

The former president will officially take office as the 47th US President on January 20, marking the beginning of his second term after his victory in the November election.
