In Bengaluru, a road rage incident turned violent on Monday night when an enraged biker attacked a couple in their car. The attack, which was captured on video, occurred around 10:30 pm near Doddakannalli on Sarjapur Road.

Citizens Movement-East Bengaluru shared a post on X, stating: “What’s happening on Sarjapur Road? A family in a car is being attacked by bike-borne assailants! Please help! The incident happened at 10:30 pm at street 1522, Doddakannelli Junction! The couple has just reached the police station!”

The video shows the biker screaming at the couple inside their car. Despite the couple’s attempt to explain that they had a baby with them, saying “Bachcha Hai Andar” (there’s a baby inside), the biker’s aggression did not subside. The confrontation began when the car driver braked abruptly without signaling, which infuriated the biker.

The situation escalated as the biker attempted to open the driver’s door, and upon failing, threw himself onto the car’s bonnet and broke a windscreen wiper. He then used the broken wiper to smash the car’s windscreen, injuring the couple’s seven-month-old child in the process.

Following the incident, the couple lodged a complaint with the police, leading to the biker’s arrest.
