In a violent incident at Burail Model Jail, members of the Goldy Brar gang were attacked by fellow inmates, resulting in four individuals being severely injured. The attack took place during dinner, with assailants using kitchen utensils as weapons.

Amrit Pal Singh, also known as Gujjar, who faces charges related to a shooting incident and extortion call, has lodged a formal complaint about the assault. Gujjar, currently housed in Barrack No. 9, reported that he and Kaushal Singh, alias Harry, were walking in the barracks when they were provoked by inmates identified as Abhilash, Kallu, and Amit. According to Gujjar, an argument ensued, and the provoking inmates threatened them, which led to a brief scuffle. The situation was temporarily diffused by other inmates.

Later, while Gujjar and Kaushal were having dinner, a larger group, including Abhilash, Sonu, Rahul, Manish (alias Kallu), Sushil Yadav, Amit Kumar (alias Deery), Fouji, and others, attacked them with various kitchen utensils, such as spoons and glasses.

Gujjar, Kaushal, and two other inmates, Raja and Monty Shah—who tried to assist the victims—sustained injuries. The police arrived promptly, and the injured were transported to the Government Medical College and Hospital in Sector 32 for treatment. An investigation into the incident has been launched, and a case has been registered.
