In a recent development surrounding the alleged assault on Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal, her ex-husband, Naveen Jaihind, has come forward with alarming claims, asserting a threat to Maliwal’s life. Jaihind’s assertions follow closely on the heels of AAP’s admission of assault on Maliwal by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s Personal Secretary, Bibhav Kumar.

In a video message shared on Facebook, Jaihind elucidated that Maliwal’s ordeal was not merely an isolated incident but part of a larger conspiracy, casting a shadow of peril over her safety. He explicitly pointed fingers at AAP MP Sanjay Singh, insinuating complicity in the alleged conspiracy against Maliwal.

Jaihind minced no words, urging Maliwal to break her silence and confront the atrocities she purportedly faced, without succumbing to fear or intimidation. His statements underscore a deepening rift within the AAP ranks, with allegations of internal conspiracies and betrayals.

The unfolding saga began when Swati Maliwal accused Bibhav Kumar of assaulting her at Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s residence. AAP leader Sanjay Singh later corroborated the incident, condemning Kumar’s actions and promising stringent action in response.

However, the plot thickened as details emerged about Bibhav Kumar’s controversial past, including his recent dismissal from the position of Kejriwal’s personal secretary over allegations of illegal appointment. Kumar’s involvement in a 2007 assault case against a public servant further complicates the narrative.

Despite Maliwal’s assertions and the acknowledgment of the incident by AAP leaders, the Delhi Police have yet to receive a formal complaint from her.
