NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court has taken suo motu cognizance of an NCERT Class 8 textbook containing content about corruption in the judiciary. A bench led by Justice Surya Kant expressed grave concern, stating that such institutions cannot be maligned. Senior advocate Kapil Sibal flagged the issue, prompting the court to assert that the law will take its course against such content.
