The Vishwa Hindu Raksha Parishad in Lucknow formed the “Bangladesh Hindu Mukti Vahini” on Wednesday to protest the persecution of Hindus in Bangladesh. International President Gopal Rai slammed global silence on the violence. Protesters also burned an effigy of Bangladesh President Mohammed Shahabuddin, asserting that the new wing will fight for the safety and international rights of the community.
