The Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) staged a protest outside the Bangladesh High Commission in Delhi against the killing of a Hindu youth in Bangladesh. VHP activists demanded justice for the victim’s family. The Hindu youth, Deepu Chandra, was murdered on the night of December 18th in Bangladesh. Initially, it was alleged that Deepu had posted comments on Facebook that offended religious sentiments.
