Silver prices crossed the ₹2 lakh per kilogram mark for the first time today, December 17th. According to the India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA), the price of one kilogram of silver increased by ₹8,775 to reach ₹2,00,750. The price of 24-karat gold also rose by ₹936 today, reaching ₹1,32,713 per 10 grams.
