Morning and evening chills have intensified in Punjab and Chandigarh. In many districts, night temperatures are falling below those in Shimla. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow cold wave alert for today and tomorrow. The state’s minimum temperature has dropped by 0.4 degrees.
