By-elections are being held in 12 wards of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD). Voting began at 7:30 am and will continue until 5:30 pm. Fifty-one candidates are contesting this election. The by-election results will be declared on December 3. This is Chief Minister Rekha Gupta’s first test after the BJP’s victory in the assembly elections earlier this year.
