The Election Commission has extended the deadline for the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process underway in 12 states and union territories by one week. The Commission announced on Saturday that the final voter list will now be published on February 14, 2026. The enumeration period for adding and deleting voters, or voter verification, will now run until December 11.
