After wreaking havoc in Sri Lanka, Cyclone Ditwaha will hit the coasts of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry on Sunday. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for heavy rain and strong winds in several areas, including Cuddalore, Nagapattinam, Mayiladuthurai, Villupuram, and Chengalpattu. Fifty-four flights were canceled on Saturday due to heavy rain in Tamil Nadu.
