Former Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has been sentenced to death on two charges. The International Crimes Tribunal in Dhaka found her guilty of crimes against humanity. The tribunal called her the mastermind of the killings that took place during the 2024 student protests. She was found guilty of the murders of 12 people and sentenced to death.
