Pollution has increased in Delhi and surrounding areas ahead of Diwali. According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the average air quality index (AQI) in the capital has reached 335, a serious situation. The AQI around India Gate exceeded 350, while Anand Vihar recorded 414 and Wazirpur recorded 407.
