The Tamil Nadu government on Monday completely revoked the manufacturing license of Srisan Pharmaceuticals, the manufacturer of Coldrif cough syrup, and announced the permanent closure of the company. The government had found more than 350 serious defects at the Srisan Pharma factory. Twenty-five children have died in Madhya Pradesh so far after consuming Coldrif syrup.
The license of the company manufacturing Coldrif cough syrup has been completely cancelled.
