    DGCA imposes Rs 40 lakh fine on Indigo Airlines

    The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has imposed a fine of ₹4 million on Indigo Airlines for using unqualified flight simulators during pilot training. An investigation found that approximately 1,700 pilots were trained at Category C airports such as Calicut, Leh, and Kathmandu on simulators that were not as standard.
