    A free trade agreement was signed between India and the four-nation European grouping EFTA

    The Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between India and the EFTA, a group of four European countries (Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, and Liechtenstein), came into effect on Wednesday. This is India’s first FTA with these four developed European countries. The agreement’s special feature is that for the first time, it includes binding commitments related to investment and employment.
