The Supreme Court is hearing the issue related to stray dogs on Thursday. Chief Justice BR Gavai handed over the case to a special bench of Justice Vikram Nath, Justice Sandeep Mehta and Justice NV Anjaria. Solicitor General Tushar Mehta argued that sterilization does not prevent rabies. Children cannot be sent to play in the open due to stray dogs.
