After serving the Indian Air Force (IAF) for 62 years, the MiG-21 fighter aircraft will retire on September 19. A farewell ceremony for the fighter jet will be held at the Chandigarh Airbase. After this, the aircraft’s services will officially end. The MiG-21 jet was first inducted into the Indian Air Force in 1963.
