South Africa captain Wiaan Mulder played a historic innings of 367 runs against Zimbabwe on the second day of the second Test being played in Bulawayo. Despite remaining unbeaten till the lunch break, South Africa declared their innings at 626/5, leaving Mulder 33 runs short of Brian Lara’s historic record of 400 runs.
