There was a stampede after the Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, Odisha at around 4 am on Sunday. 3 people died in this, while 50 are injured. The condition of 6 of the injured is critical. The accident took place in front of the Gundicha temple, about 3 km away from the Jagannath temple. A huge crowd had gathered here to see the Nandighosha chariot of Lord Jagannath, when the stampede occurred.
