Fugitive diamond trader Mehul Choksi, accused in the Punjab National Bank loan fraud case, has been arrested by the police in Belgium. According to media reports, Choksi was arrested on Saturday on the appeal of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and is currently in jail. India has started the process of Choksi’s extradition with Belgium.
