The AICC directs the PPCC to facilitate this meeting. All Congress MLAs of Punjab are requested to kindly attend this meeting.”

Capt Amarinder and Sidhu have been at loggerheads for the past six months and trying to reaching out to the high command seeking their intervention. Sidhu has till now drawn first blood getting the coveted PPCC presidentship from Sunil Jakhar.

Close to 37 MLAs are in Sidhu camp as of now while another 40 MLAs are with Capt Amarinder Singh. Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa and Tript Rajinder Bajwa are close to Sidhu and have been rallying other MLAs behind Sidhu.
