Maan Govt Creating An Atmosphere Of Fear: Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa

President of Shiromani Akali Dal (Sanyukt) and former Union Minister Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa today said that the Punjab government is creating an atmosphere of fear and tension in the state for the past few days. He said that innocent Sikh youths are being targeted deliberately. He said that if anyone’s fault comes to light, then action can be taken according to the law, but under the guise of any phenomenon, the government should not create an atmosphere of fear in the state at all.

Sukhdev Dhindsa said that the Aam Aadmi Party government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has also followed the path of the anti-Sikh Congress government and is trying to create an atmosphere of fear among the Sikhs with its oppressive policies.

Dhindsa said that the Punjab Police had many ways to take action in a peaceful manner, but the way in which the police deliberately carried out this operation has created an extremely tense situation in the entire Punjab, for which Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is directly responsible. Apart from this, the people of the state are being harassed by stopping internet services in Punjab for the past few days, he said.

Sukhdve Dhindsa further said that the Bhagwant Mann government deliberately carried out the police action on the anniversary of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala in order to divert the attention of the people.

He said that in the assembly elections Bhagwant Maan had promised the people of the state to make ‘Rangla’ Punjab, but the current situation shows that the Maan government has left no stone unturned in making ‘Gandala’ Punjab.
